Dear readers,

The holiday season is so much more than December 25th, it is the whole month of December that builds up to the big day!

And even we are not December yet, many of you will be thinking about this year’s Christmas decorations or some of you will have even started decking the halls.

Again this year, I would like to share with you pictures of Christmas decorations by interior designers, stylists and boutique hotels, that caught my eye. I hope their creations will bring you inspiration to decorate your home.

I would like to express my gratitude to everyone of them, giving me permission to share their creations here today.

All pictures are posted with consent of the owners.

Let’s start with the Christmas tree, because that good old tree is one of the most loved and popular symbols to represent Christmas.

This first picture shows a Christmas tree, seen in the beautiful hotel Townhouse Weisses Kreuz in Salzburg, Austria.

Just love the decoration of the tree that goes hand in hand with the informal and casual atmosphere of that room!

What do you think of this tree seen in the charming hotel Le Mas des Poiriers, located in the French countryside near Avignon?

How wonderful it must be to stay at this gorgeous place during the holiday season!

Here we see last year’s Christmas tree decorated by the talented, Memphis located, interior designer Sean Anderson.

I have always loved Sean’s enigmatic style and I do love his gold and silver themed Christmas tree shown here.

This picture I took a few years ago at the home of Belgian Interior designer Walda Pairon and I still love the way this tree is decorated.

Our last year’s Christmas tree here. Last week I already started to set up our this year’s tree, hung the lights, but I still have to finish the decoration.

So far Christmas trees. Let’s take a look at some other creations that caught my eye.

If you love Scandinavian style Christmas decorations, you definitely have to visit the Instagram page of Vakre Verden, where Norway based interior designer, stylist and photographer Franciska Munck-Johansen shares the most beautiful Christmas decorations!

I can’t stop looking at this Norwegian hytte decor. So very cozy!

I’ve been following Houston based interior designer and photographer Julia Arceri for some time now and I do love her eye for beautiful interiors. Her chimney mantel is decorated with only candles and greenery! So elegant, so so beautiful!

And this is a mantel decorated by Sharon of the Australian online antique and vintage store family founded . Sharon mixed a faux garland with foraged greenery, her hand decorated baubles and vintage candleholders.

Every year again I am swooning over the mantel and other Christmas decorations of Italian based Luisa M. Calmonte! This picture is of her last year’s Christmas mantel. I am sure Luisa will come up soon with a picture of her this year’s decorated mantel.

Even the doggies seems to enjoy it!

My favorite Christmas staircase decor is undoubtedly the one seen at Galerie Pellat de Villedon, a Versailles based antiques boutique.

Isn’t that just beautiful?!

I have always loved the idea to not only decorate the formal rooms in the house, but to extend Christmas decorations to the rooms or spaces where you do spend a lot of time, as in the kitchen, this to fully enjoy the Christmas atmosphere throughout your home.

Mistletoe, mini Christmas lights and a decorative glass bauble on a large rattan tray. One my favorite decorations at our home.

Let’s not forget the Christmas table setting!

When I came across this table setting by Caroline Saeys of Les Fêtes De Coco, I instantly fell in love! How beautiful is this?! Love everything about this table! The colors, the flowers, the tableware, the table cloth. For more gorgeous table settings, be sure to pop over to the Instagram account of Belgian based party architect and table tuner Les Fêtes De Coco.

If you are looking for a more informal, casual, table setting, then you will absolutely love this holiday table styled by Marie Caviglione at Château de Moissac-Bellevue, that was featured in My French Country Home Magazine by Sharon Santoni.

I couldn’t resist to share this picture of a dish served in Copenhagen based restaurant Kadeau.

Love this Christmas dish presentation!

When it comes to traditional Christmas table settings, I have always loved this table setting by Lisa Petersson of Faggemala. As you may remember I posted a picture of this table setting last year too (here). It doesn’t go ‘out of date’.

White table cloth, red candles and greenery. An ‘evergreen’ Christmas table setting.

And then there is Maison Fête! One of my fave accounts for table ware and antique finds.

The touch of holy sprigs on this table does it all! Love the antique bronze candle holder too.

This is a picture of my Christmas table setting from 2 years ago. I am still thinking about this year’s table! I need to work it out in the next few weeks.
