Dear readers,

Last weekend I started to style our home for Christmas. I’m not quite finished yet but I wanted to share these pictures with you anyway.

As you might already know from previous years, I don’t really like abundant and lavish decoration. I choose one or two corners in each room of our home to add a touch of Christmas decor.

I do hope I might bring you some inspiration. May you enjoy it!

Our living room fireplace mantel.

Every year again I bring in mistletoe, as this cannot be missed in this holiday season.

My group of hurricane candle holders on the console table is coming back year after year as they create such a cozy and warm atmosphere.

Mistletoe, mini Christmas lights and a decorative glass bauble on a large rattan tray.

Candles always work well at this time of the year and I love to place them around the house as here seen on one of our living room window sills.

Or a group of candles on a side table.

Let’s go to see the vignettes in our kitchen.

Kitchen Christmas vignette.

Again, candles, everywhere!

Entering the dining room.

A group of three small Christmas trees on a side table.

I started with a vase of Eucalyptus and some onion flowers and a branch of Nobilis to set our Christmas table.

I have to tell you that I was very excited to use my antique Suzani – I bought earlier this year at Christine Bekaert – as our this year’s Christmas tablecloth.

This is what our Christmas table will look like.

This pair of antique gilded bronze candelabra I bought at Maison Fête.

Can’t wait to see our family and friends joining our Christmas table!

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!!!

xx
