Decking the halls

It’s that time of the year again! Putting Christmas trees up and decorating the home for the coming holidays.

Every year again we want to come up with a new way of decorating and we are on the search for the most beautiful ornaments and unique decorations to add a personalized touch to our holiday home décor.

Although I noticed that a lot of people have been busy decking the halls for some time (it looks as every year people do start decorating earlier and earlier), I just started thinking about decorating my own home. Fortunately I already saved a lot of images of Christmas decorations I do love.

Again this year I do like to share with you a few of my favorite Christmas decorations.

Enjoy!

The Christmas tree surrounded by presents (preferably with tons of them) can not be missed.

I do love the simply decorated trees as often to see in Scandinavian homes.

Love the small lanterns here.

Whether you prefer a more traditional, abundantly decorated tree or you like a more simply decorated tree, every year you have to come up with new ideas, and make it look different.

There are some beautiful ornaments fo find nowadays as these jewelled eggs, inspired by the creations of Carl Fabergé, found at the webshop of CATESBYS.

Red berries are so lovely to decorate with.

Take your silverware out of the closet and embellish them with some greenery, red berries, cranberries or red apples.
