Hello my readers and friends,

Do you like the autumn season?

Yes, it is always sad that summer is over, warm weather and greenery coming to an end, leaves fall off of trees and leave them bare and forlorn looking. And yet there is so much beauty to see in this autumn season.

Walking in our garden, I so enjoy the beautiful colors of the leaves and the rustling of them when I walk along our garden path. A beautiful autumn scenery.

There’s nothing prettier than the leaves changing colors. Green leaves turn yellow and brown. A beautiful, subdued, fall color palette.

“Autumn is the hardest season. The leaves are all falling, and they’re falling like they’re falling in love with the ground.” Andrea Gibson

I was surprised this week to discover a single late bloomer in our garden, such as this ‘Madame Isaac Pereire’ rose (photo above),

a ‘Catherine Deneuve’ rose (photo above) and a rose ‘Meilove’ (photo below).

“Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.” Unknown

Our orchard

All the fruit has been harvested, but there are still quite a lot of leaves hanging on the trees.
With the next wind, many will swirl on the ground.

Our climbing hydrangea is also changing color.

I just love that cozy feeling inside, pulling out a pile of pillows and throw blankets to settle by the fire.
