As I took some pictures in our garden this morning, I thought it was time to share some of them with you today.
At this very moment the weather looks a lot better than it did this morning. Although it was rather cloudy and windy, I took my chance to take a few photos.
Watching the birds coming into the garden, one can feel that the garden has sprung into life, getting ready for summer.
Our 8 year old plane tree at the front of our house got a lot of leaves the past few days.
The climbing hydrangea started blooming, finding its way around the oeil de boeuf window in the façade of our home.
Although our wisteria vine is still young, it smells wonderful. Everytime I walk along the pathway its amazing scent is coming my way.
This week the rhododendrons ‘Ponticum’ started to bloom. So nice to have some touches of them inside.
I am always amazed to see the grapevine on our orangery suddenly showing its leaves !
Happy to see the first rose of our back façade climbing ‘Kir Royal’.
The hydrangeas in front of our outbuilding are doing well. I can’t wait to see them blooming within a few weeks!
I do hope you enjoyed my garden post of today.
Wishing you a sunny and lovely weekend !
xx

All pictures by me.
Dear Greet what a fabulous garden! I love the plane tree, what is the plant underneath it? It looks particularly good against the cobble paving. Everything is so beautifully considered. I adore the garden at this time of year with fresh new greenery and yours is heavenly!!! Warmest wishes from England – Glenda x
I love looking at gardens at this time of year, there is always so much inspiration. I love your climbing hydrangea, it is one plant I really want to add to our garden, I just need to find the perfect place for it. It’s raining here too this morning in South West France, such a contrast to the hot sun and warm 25C of yesterday!
It’s so lush! Looks like a real oasis of beauty.
Also, congratulations on being one of the few bloggers to correctly use “its” rather than “it’s” as a possessive pronoun.
So lovely!!
Hi Greet, its been a long time. Wanted to say hello and tell you how beautiful it all looks….fabulous! Enjoy it:)
Next please….this will be floral fantasy!! franki
Such gracious lush effects and so inspiring! The Kir Rose is breath-taking and it is all heart-breakingly beautiful.
Your garden looks so lovely Greet.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

How wonderful to see your garden coming to life this Spring!
There is also nothing I like doing more than putting on my Wellingtons and having a walk around the garden as the morning breaks….even in the rain.
