Since I’ve seen passing all those pictures of Thanksgiving table decorations the past few days, I thought about sharing the table decoration I had put together last week as we had some friends coming over for dinner.

Decorating our home and in particular decorating the table is one of my preferred pursuits.

Since many years I have created a file with inspiring images, a folder to dive into whenever I need it.

Today I wanted to share with you how to create the table centerpiece shown here. Very easy!

Start with 2 large rosehip branches and weave some ivy sprigs through it. Unfold it according to the preferred length.

Put some bunches of moss (placed on cellophane paper) under the branches.

Moss is always great to add a natural touch to your decor and table centerpieces.

Then add some small rosehip branches on either side.

Start adding candles, tea lights and candle holders criss-cross the greenery.

Bring in a few roses, referring to the colour of your candles.

Here I used preserved roses, but of course you even can use fresh roses, putting them in a tiny vase or tea light holder.

Done!

Very ease, not?!

Now you can start setting your table.

Using a tiny rosehip branch as napkin ornament.

Time to light the candles.

Don’t forget to place a hurricane candle on your table. The reflection of the candle light just creates that special and cozy atmosphere.

A table!

HAPPY WEEKEND !
