Dear readers and friends,
Belgian Pearls is turning 13 years old today!
That’s already more than a decade of me blogging! So much has changed since I took the plunge and published my first post on the Blogspot platform on July 31st 2009 ( feeling old 🙂 ).
I had absolutely no long-term plan or big expectations. I started this blog for fun and to interact with bloggers and people from around the world.
I didn’t expect to get that far and even receive blog awards. I hadn’t dared to dream about my own BP Home Collection, which was launched in 2018.
As mentioned, a lot has already changed and blogs are read less and less. People are moving to Instagram.
Although I do post photos on my Instagram page almost daily, I still regularly write a Belgian Pearls blogpost, because I do notice that you keep reading my posts and I am so very grateful for the beautiful messages that I still receive from many of you.
Today, for you, some summerly pictures that earlier appeared on my blog or instagram page.
Enjoy!

Thank you for continuing to blog! I love having a spot to visit when my work is so hectic, and I need a little beauty to calm my mind. I am a writer and reader, so the words you post here are so lovely to read, along with the photos.
Thank you so much dear Indy!
Warm regards,
Greet
Instagram (I am a follower) has its place but nothing can replace the beauty of still photographs and your narrative. As a long-time reader, I am grateful that you continue to publish the blog. Wishing you continued success as your influence expands, and hoping to read you for years to come. Best regards.
Thank you so much Theresa! So appreciated!
My warmest regards,
Greet
