A lot of you do know that Belgian Pearls was shortlisted for the Amara Interior Blog Awards 2015 and that I was invited at the Amara Awards Event, that took place last Wednesday, at the spectacular Ham Yard Hotel in London.
All shortlisted bloggers of 15 categories of interior design related blogs, judges, sponsors and the Amara Team gathered together to celebrate the best in the interior blogging industry.
Arriving at the hotel all guests were escorted down through the hotel, to the Dive Bar, where everything was prepared to perfection for a memorable evening.
We were greeted with champagne, cocktails and delicious canapés.
We all had the opportunity to catch up with colleague bloggers, sponsors, judges and the Amara Team before the start of the official part of the evening, the Amara Awards Ceremony.
All along the evening, Amara Interior Blog Awards instant tweets and instagram messages from all over the world were projected on the wall.
It was a real pleasure to meet so many people, all related to the interior design industry and to put faces to the blogs.
Before we knew it was time for the main event and everyone was welcomed into the Ham Yard Theatre.
The Ham Yard Theatre was the perfect venue for the awards ceremony.
Palpable tension when it came for the winners to be announced !

All good things come to an end and before we knew it, it was time to say good bye to all these people we just met !
I am so very pleased, to have met Alessandra, the Amara Award Winner in our categorie ‘Best European Interiors Blog’. She is such a lovely person, and she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
