Cozy and warm country home interiors

There is something special about living in the countryside. It feels as living far away from the daily hustle and bustle of the city.

Spending time or living in a country home feels peaceful and private, embracing a slower paced life and a more lazy-day living.

Country homes do feel so welcoming and their interiors look so very cozy, warm and inviting.

I have to admit that I am addicted to a few Instagram accounts that show wonderful country homes and of which I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere of their gorgeous decorated interiors.

In today’s post, I like to share with you some pictures of country home interiors I’ve found on the Instagram accounts I follow. I do hope these interiors will inspire you as much as they do inspire me.

Slightly Worn London – Instagram

I just love the cozyness of the beautiful decorated London home of Frank, the creator of Slightly Worn Instagram account.

Besides lovely pictures of his own home, Frank is even posting gorgeous pictures of decaying architecture, venerable interiors, old furniture, faded grandeur and 17th century Dutch painting.

An account to follow!

Beautifiul chosen upholstery and lampshade fabrics! And notice the blue chinaware.

Robin Lucas is a London based artist and designer.

Robin takes much of his inspiration from his surroundings and divides his time between his home on the Isle of Wight, London and the wilds of north Lancashire.

His Instagram account is absolutely worth to follow!

This picture here below is just gorgeous. As a still life of flowers walked away from a Dutch 17th C. painting!

There is definitely something special about living in country homes! Just love the exceptional country style atmosphere created in all of these homes.

In all country homes’ pictures I do share here today, there are so many beautiful fabrics to see! This together with the most beautiful flower bouquets and arrangements, as you can notice here at Robin’s home.

Franck Delmarcelle France – Instagram

Franck is a Paris based antiques dealer and interior designer and is one of the very first accounts I did follow on Instagram. He knows as no other how to create an extraordinary atmosphere by bringing together antique pieces and works of art. I absolutely love the way he ‘orchestrates’ a room.

Isn’t that a gorgeous kitchen design! Franck dared to combine the more contemporary kitchen cabinetry with an antique ball-shaped legs table.

You have to be the nicest person on the planet, Greet. I do hope we can meet sometime.

As I’m a big fan of 17th-century style, English country decorating, and European interiors in general, this post fascinated me. Especially the Marcelle Franck (sp?) interior which showed a very modern kitchen with an old table. Brilliant!

I live in sunny California, where nothing is old and people are crazy for mid-century modern, but I will visit all your Instagram accounts. Thank you so much for sharing!
