Dear readers, yesterday I brought a visit to our Belgian interior designer Walda Pairon as every year Walda opens the doors of her charming cottage in Kalmthout to the public.

I am pretty sure that avid followers of my blog will definitely know Walda by now. I already wrote so many posts about Walda and her work in these past 10 years of blogging.

It’s so very nice for me to notice that some of you actually brought a visit to Walda’s home through reading my posts! Yesterday I met Patricia, a loyal follower of my blog, visiting Walda for the first time, and who promptly recognized me when she saw me entering Walda’s house.

‘Thank you for the nice talk dear Patricia, I am so very pleased to have met you!’

For those of you who are interested in reading all my posts about Walda Pairon, please enter the name ‘Walda Pairon’ in the search widget on the right side bar of my blog and you will find all earlier posts I wrote about Walda.

Today, I would love to share with you some pictures of my yesterday’s visit.

Enjoy!

Walda’s home is full of gorgeous Christmas trees, always decorated according to the atmosphere and to the colours seen in the particular room.

Loved this vignette!

Tree ornaments adapted to the room’s colour palette.

Subtle Christmas touches everywhere.

Touches of red and velvet.

Every single year Walda succeeds in decorating several Christmas trees through the house, in a very personal and exceptional way.

Beautiful window wreath.

‘White room’ decorations.

‘Golden glow’ for this mantel.

I fell in love with this tree!!!

Notice the carefully chosen ornaments! Just gorgeous.

I would love to end this post with the huge Christmas tree at Walda’s conservatory.

If you would love to bring a visit to Walda’s home, please pop over to her website and make an appointment.
