Introducing new Belgian interior design brand Defleure Home Collection

Today I would love to introduce you to the new interior design brand Defleure Home Collection.

Olivier Puylaert and Dominique Quintelier, the founders of this Belgian brand, are familiar with each other since childhood.

Olivier, with more than 20 years of experience in the interior design business of his family, and Dominique, who recently started importing small furniture from Indonesia, decided to join forces and to start up their own interior design business.

I had the honour and privilege to be invited to the launch of their brand new collection, that took place a few weeks ago at the Zilte Zoen, the perfect venue for this event.

The collection already includes many beautiful design pieces, that Olivier and Dominique have designed themselves, and that are made in Belgium, Italy and even in some Asian countries as Indonesia and Thailand. They both take the time to discuss their designs into details with the manufacturers to be sure to add just that little bit more to create timeless designed pieces.

Their collection of tables and consoles, available in oak and wengé, are custom made in Belgium, the bespoke upholstered furniture is designed by this duo and is handmade in Italy. Other furniture and decorative accessories, as the petrified wood, rattan furniture, vases,… are imported from Asia.

This collection will undoubtedly be extended in the near future.

Olivier and Dominique both emphasize that with every piece of the Defleure Home Collection, customers bring in a qualitative, timeless and stylish design piece into their home interior.

For all their upholstery fabrics, Olivier and Dominque appeal to Designs of the Time, a belgian brand of interior fabrics, and of which the owner, Yvan Puylaert, is the uncle of Olivier.

At their launching days, Defleure hosted the interior design brand Menza, that offers textiles and luxury bedlinen, decorative accessories, candles and fragrances.
